Dennis’s feet are firmly rooted in the past, yet his heart and soul are connected to the present. His latest album “About Time” was nominated for Best Blues Rock Album at the 2025 Blues Music Awards in Memphis, TN
In August 2023, at the Jus Blues Awards in Tunica, MS, Dennis received the Bobby Rush Blues Entertainer Award for his Outstanding Musicianship Performing Tradition Blues Music.
He also spent three years with The Bus Boys (Boys Are Back In Town) and was a member of The Zac Harmon Band, when they won first place in the 2004 Blues Music Awards Competition in Memphis TN.
